Female stalker gets away with probation

A Montgomery County woman charged with 127 counts of felony stalking after repeatedly contacting a Berks County detective she'd previously threatened to kill is placed on probation by a judge instead of jail time.

And you wonder why we have so many repeat offenders in this country?

When will judges stop the revolving door and lock up people who pose a danger to others?

The judge in question is Berks County Court of Common Pleas Judge Stephen B. Lieberman.

It's one thing to give a person a second chance if they've made a mistake, but when you break the law 127 times? The same woman was charged with stalking the detective in Montgomery County when he was a police chief there. She followed him to neighboring Berks County and continued the pattern of harassment.

I wonder if the woman would have gotten jail time if she was charged with stalking a judge?
